Every October, schools and organizations across the country join in observing National Bullying Prevention Month. The goal: encourage communities to work together to stop bullying and cyberbullying by increasing awareness of the prevalence and impact of bullying on all children of all ages.  Awareness is a first step toward decreasing this behavior, but it’s actions that take place that changes the world for our children.  Our campus is a Bully Free Zone  and our actions begin in our classrooms.  Raising awareness and advocating for effective anti-bullying policies promotes a healthier school climate and where we enforce our mission of providing a positive learning environment in which all students develop the skills to succeed.  The more awareness that that is created during the month of October, and all year round, will bring us one step closer to putting an end to bullying!
