For years we have earned extra cash for our school by clipping Box Tops.  Box Tops has now offered an app to help make that process even easier!  Each Box Tops clipped or scanned is worth 10¢ and they add up fast.  This money is used to help our school in so many ways.  Each year a check is given to the school for $1,000.00 for teachers to restock their classroom supplies!  So, help out and clip or scan today!   • Complete the CCS Mentor/Volunteer Registration (criminal background check) – needed to be a volunteer
  • Complete Community Volunteer Training. This training can be completed at the school site on a CCS’ computer with Internet access.
  • Contact the school principal or your child’s teacher to inquire about volunteer opportunities at the school.
  • Get Started! Work with the school staff to determine a date and time when you can get involved.

Image of PTA Every Child - One Voice in bluePTA is the parent Teacher Association of our school. Our PTA promotes the welfare of children in the home, school, and the community. PTA officers consist of a president, vice-president, secretary, and treasurer. Officers are elected for a term of one to two years.

Meeting dates are held monthly at the school. General meetings that open to the school are scheduled for September 13, 2016, and May 11, 2017.

Each Member of the PTA pays annual membership dues of $5.00.

We are proud of our support and parent involvement efforts and encourage all parents to become a part of our school by joining the PTA.

If you would like further information on how to become a PTA member or how to become nominated for a position on the board or a committee, please contact your student’s teacher to be contacted.

Image of Box Tops and Campbell's Logo Combo side by side to remind our parents that we collect both to raise money for our schoolThere are so many ways to help benefit our school.  One way is to clip Box Tops and Campbell’s Soup Labels and send them in with your student.  Each Box Top is worth a dime and those add up quick!  Our school averages over $1,000 by collecting Box Tops for our staff to purchase materials to enhance their classrooms.  Clipping Campbell’s Soup Labels helps purchase items as well.  Every bit helps strengthen the learning environment for our students!

The Cumberland County District PTA Council, comprised of an executive board with six elected officers, four appointed principals, and the Superintendent or his representative, is dedicated to the PTA mission of helping every child succeed by building strong PTAs. In partnership with each local PTA, parents, teachers, students and community members, the council will speak as a unified voice for programs that contribute to the success of every child in Cumberland County.
